Director of Product Management
MegaLearning is a stealth-mode company operating in the space of search technologies. As part of building the company's leading offering team, with the goal of becoming a market leader in its space, MegaLearning is looking for a seasoned, Internet-savvy, consumer-oriented, highly-experienced individual who will be responsible for MegaLearning's product definition and roadmap. The position entails the following responsibilities:
· Product specification
o Ownership of MRD/PRD processes
o Identifying and engaging with potential whole-product partners
o Aligning product specification to go-to-market and distribution strategies
o Defining integration with other leading online services
· Competitive analysis – defining and driving coopetition models
· Validation processes - focus groups and user surveys
· Collaborating on
o Defining content strategy for the service
o Defining product roadmap
o Defining go-to-market elements
o Beta program
o IP strategy
o Corporate marketing activities
The position reports to the company's CEO (later on to be reporting to VP Marketing). The position is located in Jerusalem. The position may involve extensive travel abroad.
Requirements
· Extensive experience in Internet consumer services
· At least 5 years in leading product management positions
· Proven experience in writing MRD, PRD. Creative, aesthetic and concept development skills
· Ability to work closely with R&D on top level design and review detailed design
· Proven experience in managing consumer usability processes. Experience in end-user experience definition (GUI + flow).
· MBA, B.Sc. in computer science preferred
Preferred experience in Internet search technologies
Preferred experience in technical software development position
Preferred experience in online consumer marketing position
Preferred experience in online content strategy position
Proven experience working in a matrix organization
Superb human relations skills
Fluent in English
